Ingredients: 
  • 2 cups SR Flour and ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg added to a cup of milk
  • 1 medium carrot grated
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup of grated cheese
  • Tblsp chopped chives or fresh parsley
Preparation: 
  1. Mix all ingredients together (a knife is ideal for this) until the mixture is sticky, not dry
  2. Shape into 20cm rounds and dust with flour
  3. Score the top of the damper with a knife into 8 portions
  4. Place into heated camp oven cover and cook for about 35 minutes
  5. Serve hot with butter
